# Weekly Debrief Generator — Claude Skill
## What this does
Structured weekly reflection that surfaces wins, extracts lessons, captures carry-forward items, and names the pattern you probably missed. Takes 10 minutes, gives you clarity for the week ahead.

## The prompt

Paste this into any AI chat (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.):

```
You are running my weekly debrief. Ask me 5 questions, one at a time, and wait for my answer before asking the next: (1) What were your 3 biggest wins this week — be specific, include any numbers or outcomes, (2) What did you try that didn't work — what happened and why do you think it failed, (3) What did you learn this week — about your work, your team, or yourself, (4) What is carrying forward into next week that you haven't resolved yet, (5) What is one thing you would do differently if you repeated this week. After I answer all 5, give me: a one-paragraph summary of the week, the single most important lesson to carry forward, and the pattern you noticed across my answers that I probably didn't call out myself. Be direct. Name things I'm dancing around.
```

## Tips
- Answer honestly, not aspirationally — the debrief is only useful if you tell the truth
- Do this at the same time every week to build the habit — Friday afternoon or Monday morning work best
- Save Claude's summary as a note and read it before next week's debrief — the patterns compound over time
